Another year, another AGM.

Everyone – New Friends member or not – is welcome to come along to hear what the group has been up to and to share their ideas for what they would like to happen to, and in, Bute Park.

If you would like to get involved through joining or volunteering that would be great; if you want to become better informed or just share your thoughts, that’s great too.

The New Friends of Bute Park is an independent, grassroots organisation which seeks to combine enjoyable social times with lending as much support as possible to the local authority-managed Bute Park and enabling local residents and visitors to be involved in what happens to this iconic park.

Some of the things the New Friends of Bute Park is involved in include:

  • Bio-diversity, conservation sessions and gardening.
  • Public events, activities, displays and education.
  • Accessibility for everyone, including socially-excluded groups.
  • Running the Bute Park Visitor Centre.
  • Sports, play and charity-support
  • Getting the voice of the public and park users heard and listened to.

The meeting is from 10.30 to 12.00 on Saturday 18 May 2024 at the Visitor Centre in Bute Park. The committee members will be there to welcome you and you can contact us on admin@newfriendsofbutepark.co.uk to ask any questions, to let us know you would like to join us, or even to raise issues if you will not be able to be there.
