Trails
There are a variety of walks and trails throughout the park that are free and fun. Whether you are with a family or by yourself, explore the 130 acres of the park where you can:
- discover the history of the park,
- learn about our arboretum,
- hunt for sculptures,
- play on the woodland trail, and
- take part in a fitness challenge.

Blackweir Woods
This beautiful woodland is designated as a Site of Interest for Nature Conservation (SINC) because of its importance to wildlife in Cardiff. It includes plants such as wood anemones, toothwort, moschatel (town hall clock), and ramsons (wild garlic), which are characteristic of native ancient woodland. Learn more.
