The Bute Park Visitor Centre is a hub for learning and training and acts as a visitor centre for the park.
Toilets (including disabled and baby change) and wi-fi are available at the site. The centre is open for public drop in 12pm – 3pm every day.
The Visitor Centre was built during the Heritage Lottery-funded Bute Park Restoration Project and opened to the public in November 2011.
The building has Green Dragon Environmental Standard Level 4. Meaning Cardiff Council has demonstrated effective environmental management in developing the building. The centre’s high levels of insulation, grass roof, reclaimed bricks, solar panels and onsite sewage treatment plant make it sustainable.
The centre is an ideal venue for conferences, talks and educational visits with facilities for up to 50 people.
