Indemnity / Cardiff Council Limitation of Liability
First published 16th Apr, 2020The Event Organiser on applying for an event and entering into contract agrees to indemnify the Council and its officials, employees, tenants, invitees, licensees and visitors from and against all personal injury (whether or not fatal) other than injury resulting from any negligent act of the Council or its servants or agents and all loss or damage to property whatsoever arising directly or indirectly from the exercise of the rights referred to in the said Schedule or any of them and against all liability in respect thereof and against all claims, demands, proceedings, costs, damages and expenses in respect thereof and which would not have arisen if the permission to enter or use the said property or facilities had not been granted and the Event Organiser declares that the Event Organiser will be responsible for obtaining such additional consents as may be required from the Council’s tenants or Licensees in respect of Council property or facilities to which this indemnity relates
Cardiff Council accepts no responsibility or liability for the loss, damage or theft of any equipment or other affects associated with your event.
Cardiff Council accepts no responsibility or liability whatsoever for the cancellation, delay, closure or loss of earnings of the event, or any other attributable losses or damages brought about by circumstances outside of the Council’s control. Cardiff Council accepts no liability for the cancellation of an event due to extreme weather conditions or any Force Majeure.
We require you to submit a signed Indemnity Form at least 10 working days prior to your event, this can be included with your Part 1 application.
