Hedges are a fabulous choice of boundary for wildlife providing valuable feeding and breeding opportunities.

Hedges allow wildlife to move about between spaces but also provide a good hunting ground for predators seeking insects and invertebrates.

They make natural windbreaks, creating sheltered area which are particularly important for butterflies. They also create areas of shade increasing the range of habitats available in a green space.
