Song Thrush
The song thrush is a familiar garden visitor that has a beautiful and loud song.
It is smaller and browner than a mistle thrush with smaller spotting.
Its habit of repeating song phrases distinguish it from singing blackbirds.

Happy Summer Solstice! In the Northern Hemisphere, Happy Summer Solstice!
In the Northern Hemisphere, the June solstice (aka summer solstice) occurs when the Sun reaches its highest and northernmost points in the sky.
It marks the start of summer in the northern half of the globe.
The word “solstice” comes from Latin solstitium—from sol (Sun) and stitium (still or stopped).
