A true musical giant is coming to Cardiff. Neil Young & The Chrome Hearts will headline Blackweir Fields on Sunday 5 July as part of the next UK and European leg of his Love Earth World Tour — marking Neil Young’s first ever show in Wales.
Backed by The Chrome Hearts — Spooner Oldham, Micah Nelson, Corey McCormick, Anthony LoGerfo and Young himself — this show brings a career-spanning set to the capital, from era-defining classics to powerful new material. With the tour already receiving major acclaim across the US and Europe, Cardiff is set for a standout summer moment.
Joining him are Elvis Costello & The Imposters with Charlie Sexton, adding another heavyweight name to the bill. With a catalogue of more than 35 albums, multiple major awards and decades of influence across modern music, Costello’s live show remains one of the most respected in the world.
