Jurassic Encounter is coming to Bute Park in Cardiff this summer. Jurassic Encounter is a must-see family event, an interactive installation of 50 life-sized animatronic dinosaurs from the Jurassic, Triassic and Cretaceous periods.
This mesmerising event is as educational as it is entertaining and the perfect day out for children and adults. Visitors will walk a perilous path through grasslands and woodlands and come face-to-face with snarling, roaring and hissing dinosaurs amongst the trees, bushes and woods.
Jurassic Encounter has many other things for families to enjoy. These include VR machines with dinosaur and non-dinosaur experiences, a range of street food and drink stalls, merchandise trailer, ride-on dinosaurs and a fossil excavation pit. Here, younger children can play at being mini Paleontologists!
Due to contractual issues the event was cancelled on Friday (06.09.2021) but the company has now satisfied its contractual obligations and the event is going ahead in the park.
