This wall runs the extent of the boundary from Blackweir farmhouse to Gabalfa lodge.
The precise age of the wall is not known but it may be contemporary with Llys-Tal-y-Bont Lodge which is dated pre 1880. It is a significant visual feature along the north/south cycleway and provides a strong boundary statement for the northern section of the park.

Conservation works to stabilise and prevent further deterioration of the wall, large sections of which were in poor condition, were completed in 2013.

Volunteers help with park Ranger clear vegetation from the Eastern Boundary Wall in (May 2022).
