Sparks in the Park will be taking place in Blackweir Field on Saturday 4th November and not Coopers Field as previously advertised.
The new location will mean that those attending the event should allow an additional 15 or 20 minutes to get to the venue if walking from the city centre.
Bute Park will close to the public an hour early at 3pm on Saturday 4th Nov. It will open at the usual time on Sunday 5th.
Gates open to ticket holders at 4.30pm, children’s display will start at 5.45pm and the main display starts at 7.00pm.
The entrance and exit to the event will be via the Millennium Bridge from Sophia Gardens or the Bute Park vehicle access bridge, which is located opposite Corbett Rd off North Rd. An interactive visitor map of Bute Park is available at www.bute-park.com
Queuing systems, ticket and bag checks will be in operation at both entrances. There will be no cash ticket sales available on the gate but tickets may still be available online from Eventbrite.
