Bute Park Ranger Vacancy

The park receives over 2.5 million visits per year and hosts a busy calendar of events and community activity. The park is highly regarded and holds a Green Flag Award. We are currently seeking applications for the role of Bute Park Ranger, part of the dedicated Bute Park Management Team, based at the Bute Park Visitor Centre.

The Bute Park Ranger provides a front-line service to park users to ensure their visit is safe and enjoyable. You will have a good knowledge about UK biodiversity and wildlife to support your role. You will take a lead on identifying opportunities for conservation and habitat improvements and work alongside colleagues and volunteers to get practical work done.
Working as the dedicated Bute Park Ranger is a fantastic opportunity for a talented individual who is passionate about nature and the outdoors.
Grade: 04 (£19,698 – £21,748)
The Bute Park Team is looking to employ 2 x Ranger Positions (full time) based at Bute Park Visitor Centre, CF10 3DX.
Tues to Sat – 5 days / Sun – Thurs – 5 days Tues (8am start time). Wed Thurs overlap to allow for working together on specific tasks.
You will be issued with a branded uniform, smart phone and radio.
